The Atrium at ISB is sort of the common gathering space. ISB does not have great looking buildings, but in some places the lighting is superb.

The recent photowalk we went to Thiruninaravur, a small town outside Madras by train.
The above image is taken in the train. I love the shallow Depth of field the 50mm F1.8 allows. Also the short focussing range.
One of the things I like shooting are street houses. Often it ends up at times in invading other peoples privacy.
Saw this Middle aged man and his son sitting on the thinnai and engrossed in their reading. The Thinnai in an integral part of traditional houses
And of course the interesting thing about traditional houses is that all the doors were aligned to a straight line. And if all the doors were open, from the main door one can catch a glimpse of the backyard.
And on that day there was a temple procession. Which obviously involved musicians, some of their instruments inside the temple
I like the clarity and options of the 50mm F1.8. Couple of shots I shot using that lens.

Shot this picture of a homeless man on First Lane Beach during the last photowalk. Shot this in a hurry before the man could realise I was clicking him, so his feet is cut off from the image. Not to happy with it but still posting it.
Armenian street in North madras has this wonderful board.
And a few blue enamel boards. Such boards are becoming a rare sight these days.
This man was sitting on his door step and busy working, Oblivious to the flash mob of photowalkers armed with cameras taking pictures. Loved the orange shirt and orange background.
